Scott Gitsham - Against Congresbury in the Somerset County Cup - A superb team goal captivated by a clinical strike from Gitsham. Abood's threw pass found Kierk on the wing, who's pass inside was moved onto Gitsham by Roberts. Who duly dispatched.

Lee Amesbury - Not for the Quality of the finish, but for the importance of the goal - Grove had failed to record a league victory in 2002, until the visit of Banwell and Amesbury latching onto a Cowley goal kick, held his nerve before giving the Grove a much needed 1-0 victory.

Sven Kierk - Not for the Quality of the finish, but for the Quality of the move - a long throw in was superbly flicked on by Scott Gitsham, before Gary Markovich brilliantly dummied the ball and Kierk fired home, to give the Grove the lead against Westland's.
